Services

I believe mental health cannot be separated from the rest of your health.

The brain does not function in isolation, and neither do the challenges that bring people to treatment. Your mental health is influenced by your physical health, hormones, relationships, life experiences, environment, purpose, and countless other factors. My approach is grounded in understanding the whole person rather than focusing on symptoms alone.

I also believe that healing begins when people feel heard, understood, and valued. My role is not simply to prescribe medication or address a diagnosis. It is to become your partner in creating the highest quality of life possible, both now and in the years ahead.

Treatment Modalities

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation

Every treatment plan begins with a thorough understanding of the full picture. I review psychiatric history, medical history, medications, lifestyle factors, family history, and previous treatments to identify patterns and connections that may have been overlooked. Many patients come to me after years of fragmented care, and a comprehensive evaluation often reveals important factors influencing their symptoms.

Medication Management

Medication management is never simply about writing prescriptions. I carefully consider psychiatric symptoms alongside medical conditions, hormonal factors, reproductive goals, medication safety, and long-term outcomes. This is especially important for patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning pregnancy, navigating perimenopause or menopause, or managing complex medical conditions.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is integrated into every appointment rather than separated from the rest of treatment. Depending on your needs, our work may incorporate psychodynamic principles, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral strategies, and supportive therapy techniques. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen resilience, and create lasting change.

Laboratory Evaluation & Nutritional Support

Physical health plays a significant role in mental health. When appropriate, laboratory testing may be used to evaluate factors that can influence mood, cognition, energy, sleep, and overall well-being. Nutritional and supplement-based interventions may also be considered as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Creyos Cognitive Assessment Platform

I offer access to the Creyos digital cognitive assessment platform, an advanced, scientifically validated tool that helps evaluate cognitive function and behavioral health. Creyos allows for more detailed assessment of areas such as attention, memory, processing speed, and executive functioning, providing valuable information that can support diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring.

Integrative Psychiatry

Integrative psychiatry allows me to look beyond symptoms and diagnoses to understand how multiple aspects of health interact. This approach considers the relationship between mental health, physical health, hormones, lifestyle, sleep, nutrition, stress, and environment in order to create more comprehensive and sustainable treatment plans.

A Different Approach to Psychiatric Care

My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms.

My goal is to understand you well enough to help you build a life with greater health, purpose, fulfillment, and freedom. By taking the time to understand the whole picture, we can work toward meaningful improvements that reduce suffering, improve quality of life, and help you spend less time navigating the healthcare system and more time living your life.

"Too often, mental health symptoms are treated in isolation from the rest of the body. I believe meaningful healing starts with understanding the whole picture."
